The sheet metal of the brake is a bit off with drum the end band opposite lever rusted onto shaft keeping it from moving over all way. Sold as-is and as described. The latch is a bit stiff but does move back and forth.

Dutton Lainson DL3500 winch. Has a good bit of rust but everything turns as it should. Photos are a major part of the so please view them carefully.

Gears are in good condition. The hold-on latch of the handle has a broken spring.
